Foam Equipment
Foam equipment is used whilst fighting hydrocarbon fuel fires, such as oil, petroleum and aviation fuel fires. We offer foam branchpipes with flowrates of 225, 450 or 900 litres per minute and matching foam inductors for inducing foam into the hose line. For total flood applications, see our high expansion foam generator, and where complete mobility is needed the Mobile Foam unit has a built in foam tank, foam branchpipe, foam inductor and fire hoses. Where a larger flow rate is required, we offer a foam monitor.
Foam Branchpipes
- Low or medium expansion foam branchpipes
- Flow rates are 225, 450 or 900 LPM
- Self inducing model available
- Standard model is made of light alloy
- Marine versions has a stainless steel body
Foam Inductors
- Inline inductors introduce foam concentrate into hose line
- Variable pick up between 1% and 6% foam concentrate
- Flow rates are 225, 450 or 900 LPM
- Standard model has light alloy instantaneous fittings
- Marine version is available for harsh marine environments
FB5X Foam Branchpipe
- Self inducing branchpipe with circular handle
- Flow rate 230LPM at 5.5 bar producing 2270LPM of foam
- Induction rate of 3% or 6%
- With built-in shut off valve
- UL or MOD models available
FB10/10 Foam Branchpipe
- Plain jet or jet spray version available
- Flow rate 455 LPM at 7 bar producing 4540 LPM of foam
- Induction rate of 3% or 6%
- Can be supplied with a shut off valve
- For use with premixed foam
High Expansion Foam Generator
- Produces large volumes of high expansion foam
- Only requires water and foam concentrate to operate
- Supplied with 30m expandable polythene for ducting foam
- Optional smoke extraction unit available
- For total flood applications eg ship's hold or warehouses
Mobile Foam unit
- Designed for rapid one man deployment
- 130 litre capacity foam tank
- With 3% foam concentration gives 20 mins running time
- Supplied with foam inductor, branchpipe and hoses
- Ideal for protecting oil storage and other high risk areas
Foam Monitor
- Manufactured in corrosion resistant bronze
- Either lever operated or geared elevation
- 360° rotation or 130° vertical movement
- Available with stainless steel foam cannon
- Can be used with AFFF/Water jet spray nozzle
